In 1934 Harry McCoy founded McCoy Machinery Supply Co. Ltd. located in the city
of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, where general machining and pattern making was
conducted. In 1945, McCoy and his son Archie purchased Kerr & Coombes Foundry
which has operated continuously for over 100 years. Modernization processes allowed
McCoy Foundry to expand in production size and quality. In 2006, East Jordan Iron
Works, Inc. acquired the municipal casting business of McCoy Foundry and
subsequently formed a new company, McCoy Construction Castings, to continue to
grow the construction castings business. McCoy Construction Castings has a new
sales and distribution center located near Toronto, in St. George, Ontario.
